Launched in 2019, this initiative has built a reputation amongst leading organisations across the maritime industry (spanning owners, operators, managers, classification, ports, technology and service companies) as a source of excellent insights for their shore based teams and DEI culture. The qualitative and quantitative data not only allows companies to drill down into their own practices, but also allows them to benchmark against other organisations and implement guidance on DEI trends and best practice.
What does it entail:
- Members shore based employees anonymously complete the DSG annual DEI survey (available to complete from January-September)
- Members access results for their own organisation and the aggregate results across the industry through an online business intelligence dashboard to enable benchmarking, reporting and strategy development
- Priority registration access to the DEI in Maritime conference
- A half day in person DEI focus session annually for all members
- Further analysis and deep dives can be supported by the DSG
